DRAWING DOWN THE HEART

A woman, who called herself a witch said, “There are good methods to ward off evil, such as lighting a candle in your yard.”

The Gadfly said, “Birds do not light a candle in order keep from falling. They flap their wings. The ultimate reverence for nature is your actual participation in life.  Your heart is the only candle you need.  If the light of your own heart will not ward off evil, then all the candles in the world will not save you from darkness.”
