THE SLEEPING VAMPIREThe Gadfly said, “The corpse of Christendom rests in its grave, like a vampire pretending eternal sleep. Its coffin is made of enlightenment. Its burial clothes were woven of reason and compassion. But it will shed the garb of its earthly demise. It will rise with the darkness of the coming age, to devour the fearful with fangs of self-serving piety, and to feed upon the blood of the hopeless in its lust to rule the night. Do you know how to kill a vampire? There is a wooden stake called love and a hammer called truth.”
